Actor Snapping allows us to have more control when moving and positioning assets/actors in our level. Select asset within editor then you can use the below controls to snap assets together, these are dependent on where the pivot anchor is located within the asset itself. Later in this series we will look at how we can reposition this pivot anchor point.
SNAP TO VERTEX BOUNDS:
Hold V and LMB Drag
SNAP TO WORLD GRID:
CTRL + END
SNAP TO FLOOR BOUNDS:
END Key
SNAP TO FLOOR [BOTTOM CENTER BOUNDS]:
SHIFT + END
SNAP TO FLOOR PIVOT:
ALT + END
